Researchers from the COMNETS Research Group at UNSRI Have Developed Indonesia’s First IAMUNSRI Platform, Integrated with SEEKPASS by JOBSTREET, to Support Top Talent in Achieving a Golden Indonesia
Sriwijaya University’s (UNSRI) commitment to driving impactful digital transformation continues to be realized through the contributions of its researchers. One tangible example of this is the involvement of the COMNETS (Computer Network and Information Systems) Research Group as experts and developers of the IAMUNSRI digital ecosystem—the official platform that connects alumni, graduating students, and corporate partners through a single integrated service. Since its launch in early 2026, IAMUNSRI has shown very positive growth. To date, the platform has been used by more than 5,000 users, consisting of senior students and alumni of Sriwijaya University.

COMNETS RG congratulates Akhmad Khudri, a doctoral candidate at COMNETS RG, on being invited as a speaker at the USAII Global AI Hackathon 2026 — a fully virtual, student-only innovation competition hosted by the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII®), scheduled for June 2026. The event challenges participants to develop AI-powered solutions for real nonprofit-connected challenges, with a strong emphasis on responsible AI thinking, ethical considerations, and governance. More than a coding competition, the hackathon is a structured experience designed to cultivate the next generation of AI practitioners who think critically, design thoughtfully, and remain mindful of the human impact of the technology they build.

Prof. Ir. Deris Stiawan, Ph.D., has achieved a notable milestone: his paper titled "Oversampling and Undersampling for Intrusion Detection Systems in the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition IEC 60870-5-104" has been included in the list of the 10 most-cited papers published by the journal IET Cyber-Physical Systems: Theory & Applications in 2024. This recognition was awarded directly by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) as a form of appreciation for scientific contributions that have had a broad impact on the international research community.
