Bintang Darmawan Raih Gold Medal Program Pelatihan Keamanan Siber SMT 2026

Congratulations and best wishes to Bintang on winning the Gold Medal and qualifying for the 2026 Indonesia Security Manpower Training (SMT) Program. While conducting cybersecurity research at COMNETS RG, Kak Bintang received guidance and direction from Prof. Ir. Deris Stiawan, Ph.D., and Ms. Nurul Afifah, M.Kom., to support the development and continuity of her research.

The Indonesia Security Manpower Training (SMT) Program is a cybersecurity training initiative launched by the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA) in collaboration with the Network Security Hacking Company (NSHC) from South Korea. In Indonesia, the program is implemented through a partnership with the Asian Cyber University (UNSIA) and INKOR.

Through the SMT, participants receive foundational instruction in cybersecurity, followed by practical exercises and lectures from South Korean professionals. The curriculum provided by the organizers covers system and network security, web security, cryptography fundamentals, malware, as well as an introduction to security solutions and troubleshooting.

Not stopping there, UNSRI also ranked first in the 2026 SMT Program Indonesia. This achievement is all the more impressive given the participation of various leading universities in Indonesia.

This accomplishment demonstrates that a passion for learning, perseverance, and the courage to seize opportunities can bring Kak Bintang closer to the aspirations she has set for herself. May the experience gained from the SMT Program Indonesia 2026 serve as a foundation for Kak Bintang to continue growing, sharing knowledge, and making tangible contributions in the field of cybersecurity.

Congratulations on pursuing your dreams, Kak.
