Selamat kepada mahasiswa dengan riset malware dan scada hack

Palembang – The Computer Network, Enterprise, and Information Security Research Group at Sriwijaya University once again held a final presentation session for its students on May 17, 2024. One of the most interesting research projects focused on mitigating botnet-based cyber attacks.

Krisna Agustini (09011382025122) successfully defended her research titled: "Detection of Botnet Malware Attacks Using the Support Vector Machine Method."

Under the guidance of Prof. Deris Stiawan, M.T., Ph.D. and Nurul Afifah, M.Kom., this research tested the effectiveness of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm in identifying network traffic patterns infected by botnets. The results of this research are expected to contribute to a more accurate early detection system for network security.

Congratulations to Krisna Agustini on her achievement in completing this stage.
