Wardriving: Uncovering Local Wi-Fi Vulnerabilities

This poster details a wardriving project that maps wireless network infrastructure and audits cybersecurity in Palembang using the WiGLE app and Python. While most local networks utilize secure WPA2 encryption, the study highlights significant interference on the congested 2.4 GHz band and severe vulnerabilities in open networks. To mitigate these risks, the poster recommends avoiding passwordless Wi-Fi, disabling auto-connect, and switching to the 5 GHz band.
