Wardriving: Wireless Network Quality & Security Analysis

This poster presents an empirical wardriving study analyzing the security and spectral quality of 701 wireless Access Points. It highlights that while WPA2/WPA3 adoption is high, prevalent mixed-mode configurations pose significant security risks. Additionally, the study reveals acute channel congestion on the 2.4 GHz band and provides actionable recommendations for users and administrators to improve network safety and performance.
