Bridging Academia and the Working World, Doctoral Student Ery Hartati's Research Receives Enthusiastic Welcome at PT Semen Baturaja

A concrete step in bringing the academic world closer to the needs of industry has once again been taken by COMNETS RG researchers. Ery Hartati, a doctoral student specializing in Information Security (InfoSec), successfully presented her research findings to the management and technical team of PT Semen Baturaja Tbk. The presentation went smoothly and sparked a productive discussion on the application of information security technology in a corporate environment. This activity was not merely a presentation of a final project, but a real effort to commercialize campus research so that it could be directly beneficial to industrial operations. The research presented by Ery Hartati was considered to be highly relevant in addressing the cybersecurity challenges faced by large companies such as Semen Baturaja.
This achievement was made possible by the strategic support of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the BARISTA (Research Talent and Innovation Assistance) program. This program served as a catalyst that enabled close collaboration between researchers and industry partners. Through this scheme, Ery Hartati gained the facilities and access to conduct in-depth studies on real case studies, thereby creating constructive discussions between academics and practitioners.
All students of the Computer Network, Enterprise, and Information Security Study Group at Sriwijaya University congratulate Ery Hartati. We hope that the results of this research can be implemented immediately and pave the way for further collaborations between UNSRI, BRIN, and PT Semen Baturaja.
