PALEMBANG – The Computer Network and Information Security (COMNETS) Research Group of the Faculty of Computer Science at Sriwijaya University celebrated the academic achievement of one of its researchers in the Computer Systems Department, Dr. Rossi Pasarella, ST., M.Eng. He has officially completed his Doctoral Examination at the B.K.U Informatics Engineering with a research focus on the integration of artificial intelligence in the aviation industry.
In his dissertation entitled "Development of a Flight Anomaly Classification Model Using the Machine Learning Method", Dr. Rossi successfully formulated a classification model capable of detecting anomalies in flight data. This finding is expected to make a significant contribution to air transportation safety through a data-driven approach. As a researcher in the Department of Computer Systems, this success is not only a personal achievement, but also strengthens the bargaining position of UNSRI research at the national and international levels.
