COMNETS RG once again hosted NgabuburIT-Talk Episode 2, featuring Ardin Febrianda, S.Kom., CSA, a COMNETS RG alumnus who currently serves as a Cyber Security Engineer at PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis. This session provided an in-depth look at the realities of working in the cybersecurity industry. In his presentation, Ardin shared his career journey, which began in IT Support and led him to become a cybersecurity expert.
The discussion became more technical when dissecting the functions of a security team within a company. Participants were guided to understand the difference between the Red Team (acting as attackers who test systems) and the Blue Team (acting as the defense that monitors and responds to incidents). Interestingly, Kak Ardin also highlighted the phenomenon of the Purple Team in the real working world, where one often has to take on both roles to compensate for infrastructure resource limitations in a growing company.
