Sebagai bentuk pengakuan kepakaran oleh industri, Tim Peneliti COMNETS RG secara khusus diundang untuk duduk bersama dengan Tim SIMRS RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin (RSMH) Palembang dan perwakilan dari BPJS Kesehatan. Agenda utama dalam pertemuan ini adalah pembimbingan optimasi layanan web services, yang menjadi jembatan penghubung vital basis data pasien di RSMH dengan sistem klaim dan verifikasi nasional milik BPJS Kesehatan.

Tingginya lonjakan permintaan data setiap harinya menuntut layanan web services yang tidak hanya responsif, tetapi juga minim downtime, aman dari celah siber, dan efisien dalam penggunaan resource server. Hadir dalam kapasitasnya sebagai pakar di bidang jaringan, arsitektur enterprise, dan sistem terdistribusi, Tim COMNETS RG memberikan panduan teknis, evaluasi arsitektur, serta rekomendasi strategis agar lalu lintas pertukaran data antara SIMRS RSMH dan BPJS Kesehatan dapat berjalan lebih mulus.

As a form of recognition of expertise by the industry, the COMNETS RG Research Team was specifically invited to sit down with the SIMRS Team of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital (RSMH) Palembang and representatives from BPJS Kesehatan. The main agenda of this meeting was guidance on optimizing web services, which serve as a vital bridge connecting the patient database at RSMH with BPJS Kesehatan&#x27;s national claims and verification system.

The high surge in daily data requests demands web services that are not only responsive but also have minimal downtime, are secure from cyber vulnerabilities, and are efficient in their use of server resources. Attending in their capacity as experts in networking, enterprise architecture, and distributed systems, the COMNETS RG Team provided technical guidance, architectural evaluations, and strategic recommendations to ensure smoother data exchange traffic between SIMRS RSMH and BPJS Kesehatan.

This ongoing collaboration is expected to create a more resilient digital healthcare ecosystem, provide maximum convenience for medical personnel, and, of course, improve the quality of service for the wider community.

Batas antara ilmu biologi dan teknologi informasi kini semakin tipis demi menjawab tantangan zaman. Dalam upaya mengakselerasi riset hayati berbasis teknologi, Pusat Riset Zoologi Terapan dan Sistem Biota dari Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) melakukan kunjungan kerja ke laboratorium COMNETS Research Group Universitas Sriwijaya. Kunjungan ini menjadi langkah awal yang krusial dalam membuka roadmap sinergi riset antara peneliti zoologi dan ahli teknologi informasi. Dalam pertemuan tersebut, dibahas berbagai potensi kolaborasi yang menggabungkan keahlian kedua belah pihak. Fokus utama diskusi salah satu nya membahas mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) untuk pemantauan habitat satwa secara real-time. The line between biology and information technology is becoming increasingly blurred in order to respond to the challenges of the times. In an effort to accelerate technology-based biological research, the Center for Applied Zoology and Biota Systems Research of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) paid a working visit to the COMNETS Research Group laboratory at Sriwijaya University. This visit was a crucial first step in opening up a roadmap for research synergy between zoology researchers and information technology experts. During the meeting, various potential collaborations that combine the expertise of both parties were discussed. One of the main focuses of the discussion was the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology for real-time monitoring of animal habitats. This step is expected to lead to research collaborations with a broader impact on both environmental conservation and the advancement of national science.
