  "abstract": "<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The rapid evolution of Internet of Things (IoT) systems, smart cities, and intelligent infrastructures is reshaping networking and cybersecurity requirements. Traditional architectures struggle to meet the demands of scalability, adaptability, and security in dynamic environments. This paper reviews recent advances in AI-driven networking, edge intelligence, and modern cybersecurity paradigms, including zero-trust and AI-based threat detection. It also examines proactive congestion control mechanisms for maintaining Quality of Service (QoS). By integrating artificial intelligence with distributed computing and adaptive security frameworks, next-generation networks can achieve improved reliability, efficiency, and resilience.</p>",
